Fundraising without the
middle layer.
HeartFund runs a short list of focused campaigns for people who need a hand — a medical bill, a repair, a small animal rescue. Pick a cause, give what you want, and get a digital thank-you the moment it clears.
How it works
Three steps, no account needed
Pick a campaign
Every campaign is one specific problem with a stated target. No vague causes, no open-ended pots.
Give what you want
Amount is yours to set. Suggested tiers start at $25, and the minimum is $5 so fees do not eat the whole gift.
Get your thank-you
A digital supporter certificate and the campaign's full story pack land in your inbox as soon as payment clears.
Fees
What a gift actually costs
We publish the whole stack. Nothing is taken out of a campaign behind the scenes, and there is no tip jar.
| Gift | Platform + processing | Reaches the campaign |
|---|---|---|
| $5 | ~$0.83 | ~$4.17 |
| $25 | ~$2.13 | ~$22.87 |
| $50 | ~$3.75 | ~$46.25 |
| $100 | ~$7.00 | ~$93.00 |
Breakdown: 5% platform fee + $0.50 per transaction + 1.5% international processing + 1% payout. Figures are estimates; the exact amount is shown at checkout before you confirm.

Who is behind a campaign
HeartFund writes and runs every campaign on this site itself. We are not a marketplace where strangers list their own pages, so there is no gap between the story and the person collecting. Each campaign page names who it is for, what the target covers, and when it closes.
Questions
Before you give
Where does my money go?
To the campaign you picked, net of the fees shown above. Campaigns are run by HeartFund, so there is no second platform taking a cut on the way through.
Do I need an account?
No. Checkout is a single page and your receipt comes by email. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to cancel later.
Which payment methods work?
Google Pay on Chrome, Apple Pay on Safari, all major cards, and PayPal. Checkout shows whatever is available on your device automatically.
What if a campaign misses its target?
Funds already given still go to that cause. We top up the shortfall from the next campaign cycle and say so on the page.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of the payment and while the campaign is still open. Email us with the receipt and we reverse it through the same payment method.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Generally not. HeartFund is not a registered charity, so treat a gift as a personal contribution rather than a deduction.
