These terms cover your use of HeartFund at heartfund.life and any payment you make through it. By giving to a campaign you accept them.
HeartFund publishes and runs fundraising campaigns itself. We are not a marketplace: campaign pages are written and managed by us, and we are the party receiving funds on a campaign's behalf.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Card, wallet and PayPal details are handled by them, not stored by us. The amount charged, including fees, is shown at checkout before you confirm.
A platform fee of 5% plus a $0.50 transaction charge, 1.5% international processing and 1% payout applies to each gift. The net amount reaches the campaign.
Targets are estimates of what a cause needs, not guarantees. If a campaign closes short of target, funds already given are still applied to that cause.
Refunds are available within 14 days of payment while the campaign is open. See the Refund Policy.
HeartFund is not a registered charity. Gifts are personal contributions and are generally not tax deductible.
Every payment is fulfilled with a digital deliverable sent by email — a supporter certificate and the campaign story pack. These are digital goods with no physical shipment.
We aim to apply funds accurately but are not liable for indirect losses. Our total liability for any gift is limited to the amount of that gift.
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your payment.
